Bummer

So, I finally got around to testing myself after eating a Yam. Not good. My blood sugar levels go up just as much with a white potato and bread. No wonder I'm not losing weight.

I need to stick to leafy green salads with some protein for lunch. Dinner will be pretty much the same but without the root vegetables.

I need to figure this out before Lent so I can go hard core paleo (no more dairy, sugar, or out of season fruits). That will be a mighty sacrifice for me. I hope I do well.
